Join our Cloud Engineering Team. This team is responsible for developing tools and technologies that will enable primavera applications to be hosted on Oracle Public Cloud.

This team's responsibilities includes

• Developing Cloud architecture that can scale with different customer deployment size
• Acquire security approvals for hosting
• Identify security vulnerabilities and resolve them
• Develop provisioning application to provision virtual machines and Databases using Nimbula API's
• Develop Chef orchestration to automate application installation and provisioning process
• Develop Monitoring capabilities using Enterprise Manager
• Develop automated process to upgrade and patch customers in one click

Role PaResponsibilities
• Domain leadership in Oracle technologies
• Demonstrated application of end-to-end architecture strategies, standards, processes, and tools in their solution designs
• Design of high quality architectures that meet customer requirements and are consistent with enterprise architectural standards
• Design architecture that meets security, performance, scalability, and agility standards
• Increased re-use and reduced redundancy in applications and technology designs
• Level of participation in supporting the development and update of enterprise architectural strategies, standards, processes and tools
• Supports the development of strategy, frameworks, best practices and patterns.
• Ensures compliance with all architecture directions and standards through cross organization consulting and direct involvement in development efforts.
• Acts as a thought leader and arbiter of decisions in their specific areas of expertise.
• Develops and documents Cloud Artifacts in required tool/repository
• Works with product development teams to gain consensus and establish application architecture standards, policies and directions.
• Support the definition and selection of enterprise tools, technologies and processes
• Ensure representation from the all stakeholders in the design of application solutions
• Act as an expert in application design and development
• Monitor adherence to corporate standards in application design, development, and testing

Required Qualification
• BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, MS degree preferred
• 10 years of overall IT experience
• Minimum of 10 years designing complex, integrated application solutions
• Minimum of 2-5 years implementing complex network based solutions in a highly virtualized environment
• Knowledge of infrastructure components, virtualization technologies and Oracle Fusion middleware applications

Required Skills
• Technical Acumen - Strong domain knowledge in Oracle Fusion Middleware Technologies and development,
working knowledge of current IT and systems technologies and standards
• Business Acumen - Strong understanding of business requirements and processes as they related to Cloud enterprise architecture.
• General Management/Leadership - Recognized as a leader able to inspire others through
conviction, vision, and the ability to formulate and articulate direction in the area of application
• Ability to forge single-purpose commitment from others with disparate objectives
• Interpersonal Relations - Sells approaches through the power of ideas rather than mandates.

Desired Skills
• Application Design, Development, and Testing - Software Life Cycle Management techniques
and Tools for managing requirements, processes, and object versioning
• Strong working knowledge of J2EE applications
• Ability to work with business people in a collaborative application design and development environment
• Strong, working verbal and written business and technical communication skills
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure Architecture and Operations in a highly virtualized
environment leveraging a mixed environment of blades, rack-mounts, and disparate storage
• Advanced understanding of Data Center architecture and Operations in a highly virtualized
environment leveraging a mixed environment of blades, rack-mounts, and disparate storage
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
