This person will be responsible for defining enhancement and improvement requirements for the management infrastructure of a successfully deployed cloud platform. They will need to have strong technical background and architectural expertise to understand how different systems within the existing infrastructure operates. They will own identifying improvements and enhancements of these systems based on customer and stakeholder feedback. They set directions and priorities on activities to address the requirements. They would oversee the entire offering lifecycle from offering definition to iteration. Would need to conduct market, customer, and competitive research and analysis for offerings, and would in turn need to identify things required to bring these offerings to market. Would be expected to set up, run, and collate information from a beta program associated with those offerings. Would work closely or as part of development and deployment teams to bring those offerings to market.
This person will be working with a number of teams across the IBM Cloud unit, including development, dev-ops, business operations, and deployment teams. He/she needs to have the ability to evaluate third party vendor tools or technologies for feasibility exercise. This person will be expected to work closely with and coordinate technical requirements with a broad scope of technical and business teams. They will need to prioritize and track requirements impacting the offerings and answer questions on those requirements that arise as the work progresses.
