Adecco Direct Placement is seeking qualified candidates for a Direct Hire 3rd shift CNC Machinist and Programmer Job in Erie, PA for our client, a quality manufacturer of products that are used globally. Your CNC machining skills should include experience with CNC mills, lathes, multi-axis machine setup and operation including boring jaws and setting fixtures. You will also be experienced with CAM programming, blue print reading, and have a working knowledge of Okuma controls. This is a third (3rd) shift position in a Union environment and offers a salary of $40,000 and up, based on experience and overtimes. Our client offers a comprehensive benefits plan including insurance, 401K and profit sharing.
Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist and Programmer Job in Erie, PA include:
Use machining and programming skills to produce quality products
Ensure quality products are produced using measurement devices.
Self-direct and motivated and able to work well with management and leads.
Five or more years of experience with CNC mills, lathes, multi axis machinery, machine setup and operation including boring jaws and setting fixtures.
Able to machine to very close tolerance +/- .0002
Familiar with MasterCam Programming
Must be able to read blue prints proficiently
Experience with Okuma is highly desired.
The ability to program machinery using MasterCam is highly desired.
Familiarity with FANUC Controls, Macro Programming, Fixture design and building, and CMM programming is a plus!
Must be able to pass clients pre-employment screenings
Pre-employment skills testing is required.
