We are looking for someone to lead our Cognitive Academy.  This position centers on cognitive technologies. We need strong leadership skills, communication skills and presentation skills for this role.  This is a management role for the team that maintains the Cognitive Academy but also guides IBM stakeholders to the right solutions for diverse business problems.  The team educates and coaches internal and external teams on the use of IBM cognitive tools and solutions.  Partnering with Universities and internal teams is key to getting the right outcomes for the team. 
We are going through a transformation that requires someone with a passion for delivery and curiosity to constantly learn about a wide range of topics around artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science and how to apply these in enterprise contexts.
The team's tools, technologies and skills include end to end stack development using agile, devops and continuous delivery with Java, JavaScript, python, github, Jenkins or travis, bash, ETL tools, Spark, Hadoop, Cognos, Watson, Natural Language processing and machine learning algorithms.   In addition, applicants will work with internal IBM stakeholders (like IBM Internal Finance) to translate business needs into cognitive solutions. Creative thinking and strategic vision is a key to success.  An understanding of back office business process is a plus. 
This leadership role is a global role with travel required to IBM sites globally.  Goals include broadening the awareness of Cognitive services and solutions across the IBM enterprise as well as collecting, sharing and making cognitive solutions easy to find, build and use.
