What You'll Do
You will be the Global Partner and Distributor Marketing Manager for the Cisco Collaboration portfolio. Your primary stakeholder will be the team in our global partner organization that drives the Collaboration partner and distributor go to market business strategy. You will help them craft the partner and distributor business value propositions for the portfolio. Working with region partner marketing counterparts, you will also own the route-to-market plan. You will work closely with subject matter experts and local partner marketers who plan and execute the majority of partner communications about the portfolio. Regular engagement with a broader cross-functional Collaboration go-to-market team will help you understand the continuous development in the portfolio and how that impacts the partner/distributor propositions. You will also be responsible for creating content and marketing communications in support of partner programs, incentives and promotions that support partner success and enhance the overall business proposition for choosing to sell Cisco Collaboration. You'll be part of the Global Reseller and Distributor Marketing team. Our team spans the Cisco architectures to help turn Cisco's business priorities into strong partner and distributor business value propositions. Our goal is to influence partners and distributors to prefer and choose Cisco to help them evolve their practices and capture market transitions so they can profit, grow and differentiate. Who You Are
Though it is still early in your career, you are an experienced marketer and have familiarity with the tech industry. You also have an understanding of the technology channel landscape and the challenges and opportunities presented to partners in this time of digital transformation.
You are a skilled writer and communicator who can craft messages that inspire and engage. You understand data-driven digital marketing and why it's so important to today's business - for anyone.
You are also an effective collaborator who is comfortable working in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment with many stakeholders at various levels in the organization. With many things coming at you, you can confidently prioritize and maintain focus on the things that will add the most value to the business.
Our minimum requirements for this position are:
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism
- 2-4 years of experience as a content developer or in marketing communications
- 2+ years of experience developing content for partner, reseller, or distributor audiences
- Previous experience developing content for collaboration, video, or communication products
