As a rep in our Card Member Assistance Dept., you will work in a positive, supportive, fast paced call center environment! This position is designed to be an entry-level collections role, where you will contact customers that have fallen past due in making payments to their account. You will attempt to contact customers in an outbound calling environment. You will also be responsible for leaving professional and urgent messages in an attempt to get the customer to call us back. Upon reaching a customer, you will connect the customer to an experienced negotiator. These are not aggressive collections roles! We care deeply about our customers and come from a place of providing support and finding solutions. Once you master this role, our awesome agents then have the opportunity to promote to the next step in our Card Member Assistance team. That would be to an Early Stage Collections Account Manager where you will work with customers that have fallen past due in making payments to bring their account up to date. The positions are eligible for monthly performance based incentive!! Skills
-Must have a minimum of 3 months of customer service experience (Call center, Retail, Hospitality, Financial Services) -Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem solving skills -Ability to negotiate and persuade customers through communication -Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment -Demonstrate the ability to meet and exceed goals in a deadline driven atmosphere -Proficient knowledge of Internet technologies and ability to move through various systems and databases to research customer inquiries -Proven organizational skills -Proven problem solving and decision making -Flexible and adaptable to business needs
