Analyze current credit data of individuals or companies to determine degree of risk involved in extending credit.  Once credit is extended, monitor all assigned accounts for prompt payment.   This position is also responsible for processing and posting of payments received.



  • Process credit applications
  • Collect and monitor all assigned accounts for prompt payment
  • Continuous maintenance of assigned open receivables to achieve acceptable Daily Sales Outstanding threshold
  • Correspond with customers in reconciling payments and accounts to resolve past due balances
  • Set-up, release and perform credit holds (no ship status) on accounts
  • Communicate with Sales Personnel and Sales Management to ensure prompt payment and discrepancies are resolved timely
  • Research short payments and skipped invoices
  • Post daily cash receipts in a timely manner
  • Process customer statements
  • Prepare daily bank deposit
  • Generate and distribute reports as needed
  • Other duties may be required as needed



  • Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience with emphasis on Collections
  • Must be able to analyze data and draw logical conclusions and recommendations for the data
  • Quick and accurate 10-key skills
  • Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic office administration skills
  • Must work well with other departments
  • Enthusiastic team player interested in positive company
