The Commercial Vehicle Dealer Specialty Markets Manager (“SMM”) is focused on generating new relationships and growing existing relationships with commercial truck and trailer dealerships within a defined geographic region. The SMM will be assigned to a group of commercial truck and trailer dealers who represent strategic growth opportunities to Wells Fargo to include retail referral financing, lending to dealer owned leasing and finance companies, inventory (floorplan) financing, and bank partnership opportunities. Responsibilities include regular client engagements to understand customer needs and develop product solutions to meet them; active calling on F&I directors and managers as well as leasing and finance company managers to ensure WFEF relationship objectives are met; interfacing with dealership senior leaders including Dealer Principals, CFO’s, and Sales / General Managers; and regular internal communications with credit, legal, documentation, syndications, and large deal review teams in order to effectively manage deal flow and process.
*Significant travel (up to 50%) is expected with this role*

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
