Role Overview Integral member of the commissions team which prepares, reviews and analyzes commission calculations for the sales team around the world. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency. Implements policies and procedures in conformance with current FASB and SEC guidance. Responsible for complying with Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 requirement as applicable. Role Responsibilities -Responsible for the calculation of compensation data and payments in compliance with commission plans or agent contracts. -Assist in timely completion of audit/discrepancy reports. Assist in research and resolution of all compensation issues in a timely and accurate manner. -Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures and policies -Works with external/internal consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes -Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data related to commissions -Assist in month-end close activities, including producing accurate journal entries to properly reflect commission expense -Ensures scaling of operation through automation, work assessment and process improvement -Assist in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the organization -Leverages the knowledge and skills of leaders or teams of professionals -Resolves operational issues -Applies knowledge and understanding or customer needs and other external contracts As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned. Requirements -8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Undergraduate degree and 2 to 4 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 0 to 2 years relevant experience) -BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience -Proficient to advance level of competency with Microsoft Excel -Good knowledge of systems and automation -Relevant experience using CRM.
