Commodity Analyst: S/he is responsible for maintaining and developing econometric price forecast modeling for global energy commodities, including but not limited to, natural gas, crude oil and products and electricity. S/he develops new modeling techniques, including neural networks and database programming, and utilizes Matlab and R programming language software. This position requires a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Economics, or related and two years of work experience in analyzing complex data relationships to forecast future market prices across all energy commodities. Also must have two years of work experience with: utilizing Matlab, R, Python to develop price forecasting models; developing high level econometric models using time series regression and other tools in a proper manner to avoid errors; Quantitative Modeling and Power Marketing Modeling; and analyzing global energy market and natural gas and crude oil fundamental modeling.
