The Communications Manager is responsible for developing, driving and executing strategic communication plans that support and the business objectives of The US Oncology Network. Key audiences include executives, employees, physician practices and patients.
Create, drive and execute Practice Management communications strategy with audience segmentation, planning, writing and execution.
Support executive communications needs for internal and external audiences, including leadership content development, talking points/FAQs, event scripts and presentation coaching.
Support general marketing communications needs to ensure alignment across other MSH segments and internal communications.
Create, organize, coordinate, track and communicate projects, timelines and approvals in conjunction with all necessary stakeholders.
8+ years communications experience
8 years of marketing or communications experience, preferably in healthcare industry role.
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal, in creating communications materials for both online and offline environments.
Experience providing design guidance/recommendations for presentations and other communication materials.
Vendor resource management, project management and budget management experience required
Ability to forge cross-BU relationships, problem solve and negotiate solutions among competing interests.
Advanced user in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word, also experience with survey tools (e.g. Survey Gizmo) is required
