Job Summary: Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures covering a variety of compliance issues for financial product sales and/or service areas, or for the entire enterprise. Determines standards and identifies best practices to ensure all business units operate within federal/state regulations and corporate guidelines. Develops and implements procedures to ensure business units administer products and services according to legal requirements. Evaluates current methods and strategies; identifies opportunities for changes and improvements. Provides technical expertise in identifying and reducing areas of potential risk. Evaluates new legislation and its impact on business units.
Functional Responsibilities: Participates in reviews of business units' operating practices and administrative procedures to determine if they are within company standards and regulatory requirements. Gathers data, conducts analyses, and prepares work related to compliance reviews. Assists in compliance training initiatives. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Typical Experience: Bachelor's degree. 0-2 yrs. relevant business experience.
