Directly,and through our subsidiaries, Omnicare provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the health care environment. While senior care has long been an Omnicare specialty, we also serve other targeted populations.

The Manager Internal Pharmacy Operations Compliance LTC, is a key leadership position on the team that will drive the development and execution of programs designed to support our pharmacies, and organization with analyzing, mitigate and solve for compliance risks related items, mandates,board of pharmacy rules and regulations, and compliance to our corporate integrity agreement. This position requires an individual that is a self-starter and can lead multiple high profile work streams with a sense of urgency and is accountable for delivering high quality results with a responsibility to commit to the highest standards of compliance and integrity. The individual must possess a deep working knowledge of operations, in order to be able to assess the environment, analyze trends, identify risk and develop creative solutions, processes and workflow in addition to measures and metrics for tracking success and ensuring compliance to all risks and policies. The individual must have executive presence and be comfortable in highly visible situation and think with a compliance mindset.

This position requires strong collaboration skills as it is necessary to work cross functionally and influence our pharmacy teams, field leadership and internal business partners. This position will routinely interact with the following groups: Loss Prevention, Business Compliance,Pharmacy Operations, IS/IT, Legal, Pharmacy Merchandising, Quality and Safety,Field Leadership, and Payer Relations.

The individual must have a passion for leading and developing high performing teams. This position will be responsible for leading a team of 3-5 direct reports and for selecting, organizing, and motivating colleagues to work together individually and collaboratively.

  • This position can be located in Woonsocket, RI or Cincinnati, OH

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience managing a team

  • Project management and the ability to participate on multiple cross-functional project teams to achieve on-time results

  • Prior pharmacy experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Long term care experience

  • Compliance background

  • Ability to be flexible and change direction as needed

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

  • Aptitude for learning and understanding computer and technical processes

  • Deep understanding of the pharmacy business and pharmacy industry

  • Good written and verbal skills-including formal presentation

  • Ability to impact and influence key partners

  • Understand data and make sound recommendations based on facts

  • Makes sound business decisions

  • Ability to manage and execute under pressure with competing priorities

  • Strong managerial and development skills


  • Pharmacy degree preferred but not required
