This Compliance Senior Manager, Global Healthcare Compliance Operations, is responsible for management, maintenance, implementation and support of Worldwide Compliance and Business Ethics (WC&BE) owned systems. Specifically, the position will be accountable for the key daily operational processes as the co-business owner of the Comprehensive Compliance Controls (C3) System, Healthcare Compliance Reporting (HCR) Tool and any additional systems and processes, as appropriate. These business systems cover various cross-regional departmental business processes and initiatives, including but not limited to disclosure of transfers of value to healthcare professionals and organizations and multiple cross-regional Compliance approval processes. This position will establish working relationships with business partners throughout WC&BE and stakeholders with the business to understand global, regional and country requirements and lead the translation of these into manageable and meaningful operational processes hosted within systems. This position will be accountable for coordinating cross-functional efforts with Compliance, Information Systems (IS), Finance, and other Business partners, to ensure requirements are completely met and maintained. This role will work closely with the Director to strategize and partner on designing solutions to address foundational issues rooted in globalization, scalability, effectiveness and user-experience.
This Compliance Senior Manager will manage large scale global and cross functional projects from inception to implementation some examples include: US Open Payments/Physician Payment Transparency Reporting; European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) Disclosure Code; Management and support of Compliance approval processes per US Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements and other relevant departmental projects. Tasks will include project management, handling key relationships and issues, escalating issues for resolution to leadership and managing exceptions to processes.
Develops project plans including scope, resources, requirements, timelines, budget and tracking/reporting for each assigned project in accordance with Amgen processes.
Manages & controls projects by facilitating project meetings, leading project team members, conducting project presentations, controlling risks, issues, time, quality and costs.
Facilitates project teams to determine and interpret requirements for project plans, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
Anticipates, evaluates and resolves multiple, simultaneous project issues, delays and problems by utilizing project management and project teams expertise.
Oversees and participates in project and system design and development.
Manages testing and implementation phases of complex projects.
Conducts post-implementation assessment of projects to assure project requirements have been met.
Promotes and develops communication and coordination between project teams, the business and management.
Creates or oversees the creation of appropriate documentation, including but not limited to: agendas, minutes, project spending, scheduling resources, project accomplishments, etc.
Identifies and communicates technical approach, project deliverables and standards for project quality.
Develops supporting documentation and monitors budget tracking, timeliness and scheduled resources for projects.
Facilitates time sensitive approval processes across multiple key stakeholders.
Create business process efficiencies in review streams.
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Compliance, Information Systems or Project/Systems Management experience
Master's degree and 4 years of Compliance, Information Systems or Project/Systems Management experience
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Compliance, Information Systems or Project/Systems Management experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of Compliance, Information Systems or Project/Systems Management experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Compliance, Information Systems or Project/Systems Management experience
Previous SalesForceDotCom (SFDC) training and system ownership
