A Composite Product Designer/Drafter contract job in Clearfield, UT is available courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technology. As a qualified candidate you must have an Active Security Clearance to be considered for this role. As a Composite Product Designer for the Orbital ATK Aerospace Flight Systems Group you will be part of a talented multidisciplinary team responsible for the development of high performance aerospace structures.

Composite Product Designer/Drafter Roles and Responsibilities include:


Develop 3D model based product designs in collaboration with Design and Analysis Engineers
Insure models and drawings meet all department standards and customer requirements.
Present models and drawings in design reviews
Ability produce accurate and efficient work in a fasted paced environment
Collaborate with manufacturing and tool design engineers to ensure manufacturability and cost goals are achieved
Ability to effectively problem solve with a team.



Qualifications:

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE
BS in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years related experience in design engineering function
Minimum of 6 years of experience with Siemens NX or Catia V5 for component and assembly design
Experience leading a team of engineers
Assembly level design including establishment of data schemes and tolerance analysis
Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes
Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment as part of a multi-discipline team

Preferred Experience:


4-10 years Design and Modeling experience
Minimum of 2 years design experience with composite materials
Experience with NX and Fibersim
Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
Familiar with aircraft and aerospace structures
Working knowledge of GD&T.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability and willingness to work overtime as necessary is required.
Experience with model checking for accuracy and model integrity
TcUA experience is a plus.
Experience in checking drawings a plus
