Adecco Engineering & Technology is currently recruiting for a fulltime Composite Technician in San Clemente, CA. You must have solid lamination and fabrication experience using prepreg material. The Composite Technician is responsible for supporting an aerospace engineering rapid product development manufacturing environment. You will produce parts and assemblies for UAVs and aircraft assemblies. Additional responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:
Composite Technician job responsibilities include:
Apply advanced knowledge to fabricating composite parts using prepreg epoxy resins with carbon, fiberglass, kevlar, and quartz fibers.
Laminate prepreg materials according to specification, lay-out, fabricate and build adhesive bonded assemblies of metallic and non metallic composite materials
Fabricating composite and metal parts into subassemblies using bonding and hardware installation for curing in presses, ovens, and autoclaves.
You will be required to reading and interpret work instructions, specifications sketches, job travelers, planning documents and engineering drawings.
Experience with laminating advance composite materials.
Knowledge of releases, prepregs, resins, composite bagging, adhesives, usage of bonding jigs, drill, trim fixtures, oven, autoclave and clean room procedures.
Fabrication experience with composite molds according to specifications
Experience running autoclaves, pneumatic tools for trimming, drilling and bonding of hardware, measurements devices, gerber/ply cutting equipment will be needed
