Position Summary:
The Conference Attendant sets-up and maintains, breaks down, and cleans the conference rooms, and lounges in accordance with ARAMARK standards, safety and sanitation policies. Sets-up, maintains, breaks down, and cleans food and beverage special events.

Essential Functions:
  • Set and re-setting of breaks, reception, and other Food and Beverage events
  • Maintains general appearance for all break areas
  • Moves light furniture and tables where needed
  • Keeps constant contact with supervisor(s) regarding the progress of the event and special needs of guests
  • Pays close attention to what is needed in preparation for the next day and set-up
  • Stocks and inventories glassware, china, food items, drinks, and linens as well as flipcharts and office supplies
  • Arranges tables and chairs in classrooms and/or team rooms according to meeting specifications
  • Removes all trash from areas
  • Reads banquet event order sheets for meeting details
  • Attends departmental and other meetings as required
  • Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy
  • Report to work on time and in complete uniform
  • Other duties as assigned
Status and Scope:
  • Reports to Lead Conference Attendant

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Must be able to interact with guests courteously and efficiently
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Equipment Used:
  • Telephone, audiovisual, photocopier/scanner

Travel Requirements:
  • Little or No Travel (<10>

Lifting Requirements:
  • MEDIUM - Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
