As engineers who can wear many hats, are leaders and want to make a difference, you will be working on various projects which are essential to Symantec's needs.
DevOps Software Engineer, Shared Services and Automation. This is an important role in Configuration Management group of Shared services and Automation, helping to build, deploy, debug, support and design build processes. / This position requires a solid understanding of the SDLC from conception to shipping product.
All candidates much also possess fluency in one of the major programming languages such as Java/C#/C++ or Objective C. Candidates will have experience using a code quality tool such as Coverity or similar tools - will have a deep understanding of a major version control system such a Perfore or GIT - will have some experience using some version of Jenkins/Team City or other build server type of tool - will have experience with cloud computing such as vmware vsphere (preferred)/AWS/AZure. Successful candidates will have superior written and verbal communication skills.
