Role Summary/Purpose

The Senior Services Other OEM (o-OEM) Configuration Manger will be responsible for the strategy and execution of o-OEM marketing features, product structure and delivery of Bills of Material for their assigned Products and Requisitions. This is an exciting time to work with a new Services product offering and developing the processes and transition of o-OEM product definition into the existing configuration tools MatPlan and Enovia PLM

Essential Responsibilities

* Own the configuration management of the o-OEM product and Bill of material Structure in the Services Product Lifecycle Management system

* Work with cross-functional teams in Services and ex-Alstom to determine, initiate, and execute an overall program that defines the services Product Offering and As-Running configuration

* Communicate these features through the maintenance of the Product offering in MatPlan

* Generate initial Customer Development Program (NPI), and Standard requisition Bills of Material, maximizing utilization of existing hardware designs

* Support the CCB Configuration Change Board to maintain compliance with GE Configuration Control Management practices

* Support the development of common configuration processes across the Thermal System product lines, to drive productivity, and Design Automation implementation

* Work with the engineering organizations to create and maintain design rules and transfer functions to automate drawing selection

* Coordinate and provide support for ISO procedures, and documentation

* Work with services design, configuration management and drafting to transfer existing o-OEM product definition and BOM's into the services product life cycle management system

Qualifications/Requirements

* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science and 5 additional years of experience in the design of mechanical components and systems OR Associates degree in MET, Engineering Graphics, Drafting Technology and 7 years design drafting experience OR 10 years design drafting experience

* Minimum 5 years Configuration Management experience

* Minimum 5 years Bill of Material experience

* Demonstrated experience developing and rollout new tools and processes

* Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion

* Experience working within the requisition process

* Experience working in PLM, MatPlan and CAD
