Pay rate: $15.00 per hour
Shift: Flexible hours to work based on work load and project needs. Typical shift could be 7:00am - 4:00pm or 11:00am - 8:00pm. Training hours will be 9:00am - 6:00pm. Some weekend work may be required based on work load.
Duration: 3 months

The Conflict Specialist will process the daily work flow for new firm clients and matters into firm systems (conflicts, records
management, accounting and practices databases). The conflict specialist is required to provide accurate
information based on new client conflict searches. This position must process requests in a time sensitive
manner.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process client requests for conflict reviews
- Ensure accurate look-up process based on client
- Enters information into firm Records Management system
- Coordinates requests for conflict checks
- Obtain thorough understanding of each process related to conflict checks
- Enters client-matter information into firm records and accounting system (only pertains to client
conflict checks
- Conducts data entry as part of conflict check process
- Create new client files as per firm process for conflict related searches
- Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
- High School diploma with 2 to 3 years of related work experience
- Law firm experience a plus (Conflicts and/or Records Management. Experience interacting with
law firm employees)
Researching (Westlaw and/or Lexis Nexis) Conflicts of Interest and/or New Business Intake experience
- Ability to type 45 WPM
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience using office equipment (fax machine, phone, copier)
- Ability to analyze information for client decision

WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
 Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of
temperature and noise level.
 Requires daily contact with internal and external customers.
 Work has some stress due to periodical workload pressures
 Requires daily communication with department, area personnel and customers.
 Work assignments for this position generally are routine and repetitive. Management provides
detailed instructions.
 Some physical effort is required to remain in a sitting position for prolonged periods while
concentrating on specific task (i.e., driving motor vehicles, operating a keyboard or switchboard, etc).
 Requires moderate dexterity- regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools,
eye/hand coordination).
