The PCI Global Program Consultant is responsible to provide technical support to the Global PCI Program in close coordination with the Regional PCI ITRS Leads and Global Operations under direct supervision of the Global PCI ITRS Leader.

Is this role the PCI Global Program Consultant will facilitate the program, working with the governance team as well as regional and in country contacts to ensure PCI security requirements are adhered to. The position will perform a variety of tasks and may lead and direct the work of others.

The position will work in a collaborative team environment to define and communicate PCI requirements, provide PCI expertise, oversee the program activities, gather results and track open issues.    



  • Must demonstrate deep understanding of enterprise security best practices and procedures; The PCI Global Program Consultant will be required  in particular to have a clear understanding on the requirements to  implement and maintain compliance with the PCI DSS framework;
  • Serve as project manager / lead for the Global PCI ITRS Program activities and related projects. Responsible for assisting the Global PCI ITRS Leader on planning and executing the annual PCI program activities;
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding PCI to global business and IT constituents;
  • Identify, document, risk rank and report on open issues and action plans for PCI remediation;
  • Follow-up on PCI compliance activities with ITRS, IT Application Teams, Business Units, and financial teams.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information Systems or related field preferred, or 8 years of equivalent work experience;
  • Professional certification; such as PCI ISA, PCI QSA, PCIP, CISA, CRISC or CISSP; Certifications preferred but not required;
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment for results and the ability to set priorities and manage multiple and concurrent projects;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Ability to act independently and exercise good judgment as well as the ability to work cross functionally and create virtual teams is essential;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required;
  • 3+ Years of experience for overseeing a IT risk and security compliance program;
  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge of core information security concepts related to PCI governance, risk & compliance;
  • 6+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry;
  • 2+ Years’ experience with conducting risk assessments with the RSA Archer platform (or similar platform).
