**Job Description:** Dell EMC Data Domain industry-leading deduplication storage systems revolutionize disk backup, archiving, and disaster recovery with high-speed, inline deduplication. Our Product Management organization has an immediate opportunity for a seasoned product management professional that can help drive our platform product strategy for our Data Domain protection storage appliances. In this highly visible and critical role you will: + Develop and drive product strategy and business cases for protection storage appliances. + Develop product roadmap, use cases, and MRDs / PRDs in support of the strategy + Develop and execute pricing and licensing plans in support of go-to-market activities + Engage with engineering teams to create and maintain a winning technology strategy + Engage with product marketing and sales to create product collateral for messaging and positioning + Assist sales in closing opportunities through product and roadmap presentations / discussions and participate in industry events as needed The skills and experience that we are looking for: + Experience in a hardware-oriented product management or solutions product manager role + Expertise in hardware platforms with a clear understanding of trends in CPU, memory, flash, and disk technology curves. + Knowledge of the data protection market including and not limited to backup and recovery, archiving, disaster recovery, and copy data management. + Strong customer focus with proven leadership, problem solving and negotiation skills. Thinks collaboratively and communicates effectively with people at all levels. + Demonstrated ability to execute product plans in an agile development environment. + Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers and/or field resources to translate and synthesize business and technical needs into substantiated product requirements. + Demonstrated effective communication skills, including the ability to create persuasive product literature and deliver compelling external presentations to diverse audiences. + Strong work ethic, self-motivated and results oriented and ability to succeed in a fast paced environment + BS/MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related filed; MBA is highly desired ­ **EMC Values:** When you choose our company, you join a diverse world of innovative thought leaders.
