DESCRIPTION: Dell is seeking a Program Manager to join the Global Business Services (GBS) team. The GBS team is focused on world-class sales support, order management, customer order support and business intelligence to make Dell the easiest company to do business with for customers, partners and team members. As a key change agent for the centralized Global Business Services team, this role offers the unique opportunity to lead E2E initiatives across a spectrum of business areas, from Sales Engagement to Order Processing to Customer care, in order to directly improve our Customers purchasing experience. The transformation programs managed by the Process Engineering & Automation team include our most significant strategic programs that have 1 goal in mind: make it easier to do business with Dell and at Dell. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you will lead strategic programs through several stages: definition, scoping, analytics, actions and implementation. Examples of the programs, projects and activities the Global Business Operations Program Manager could be responsible for include: - Identify issues causing frequent, repetitive customer contacts and drive corrective action across broader business - Implement RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to automate manual task-based processes - Streamline, standardize, and optimize GBS cross-functional to improve efficiency and customer purchasing experience - Drive systematic process improvements to shift orders from manual order processing to automated frictionless processes - Lead integration into Dell-wide process standardization effort and next generation E2E tool rollout QUALIFICATION: REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's and 10+ years of relevant work experience. Strong global project management and operational skills with 5+ years prior work experience in high-tech, consulting, sales or service-oriented businesses Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a cross-functional project team Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments Ability to summarize and present information in a concise and clear manner for executive review and approval Advanced organizing, analytical, problem solving, negotiation and planning skills Ablity to deal with ambiguity and drive for results Ability to communicate clearly, in both written and verbal forms Experience with Excel and PowerPoint, and presentation skills
