Consultant, Sales Operations - Distribtuion CEM - Field Based/Remote

As a part of the North America Channel Operations team, The Channel Engagement Manger (CEM) is a partnerfacing channel operations single point of accountability for Distribution partners. The role is strategic and collaborative working directly with the Partner and Sales to be the face of Dell operations. The CEM will ensure an optimized flow of Dell products from planning to order management, delivery and sales out. They will act as escalation point for operational issues focused on process optimization.The CEM will work with Dell cross functional support teams in order to understand the business needs and lead strategic improvements to enable the business.A top priority is to promote and improve the Partner Experience and act in a way that compliments Dells Corporate Responsibility.

Role Responsibilities
-Works with broader Channel Operations teams to effectively manage existing and new Dell Channel processes and tools in a consistent manner
-Leads Big 5 Operational Focus and Plan of Record (includes action plan + impact)
-Oversee / manage operational support to strategic distributor; establishes operational objectives and assignments for cross functional teams
-Manages coordination of communications and information dissemination with sales, cross functional organizations
-Leads process improvement programs cross functionally
-Escalation management of L3 issues
-New tool intro & adoption
-Governance with functional support organizations (Care, Op, etc.)
-Manages KPI scorecard for assigned partners (Operational)

QUALIFICATION:

Requirements
-Analytical skillset with business and financial acumen
-Ability to deliver quality results under stress and deadlines
-Negotiation and influencing skills with ability to resolve conflict and balance priorities
-Strong verbal / written communication skills including meeting facilitation, presentations, and communication with all levels of management & staff
-Flexibility to travel as needed for customer facing meetings and planning
-Strong strategic planning abilities

Preferences
-12+ years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 8+ years with a Masters degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
