Job Duties: Develops software solutions for external clients based on detailed specifications from technology/systems consultants. Drives industry competitive products to market. Responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation and analysis of modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products. Develops and/or executes implementation according to project plan. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Contributes technical expertise to help determine requirements and functional specifications for entire system. Acts as prime consultant on critical projects that impact long term organizational goals and objectives. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Job Requirements: Master's degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Facilitating Information Storage administration through testing, validation, and qualification; 2) Analysis and Modeling of Storage System Performance; 3) CPU Microarchitecture performance analysis and CPU performance monitoring counters interpretations; 4) Reading assembly code generated by compilers and compiler generated code analysis for Intel x86 and other CPU architectures; 5) C/C++ and Python programming languages; 6) File and Block data access protocols (NFS3, NFS4,CIFS, SCSI) 7) Advanced performance profiling tools, including Unisphere Analyzer, InsightQ Monitoring System, and Intel VTune Performance Analyzer 8) FreeBDS internals. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
