Adecco Engineering and Technology is currently recruiting for a Content Developer job located in Palo Alto, CA.

Job responsibilities include:

Content Developer will be a member of a leading hospital and will design and develop resources that will be used in the orientation programs for all stakeholders impacted by the opening of the expansion, including physicians, LPCH leadership, clinical, support, ancillary staff and volunteers. The role is under the general supervision of the Sr. Expansion Educator. The position supports the Expansion Educators, participates in needs assessments, analyzes delivery options, creates the learning resources and supports their implementation. The position prepares print resources, web based content, SCORM compliant eLearning materials and may also perform limited aspects of LMS administration.

Collaborates with the Expansion Educators to identify and confirm learning needs.
Designs learning resources and user interfaces using current principles of instructional design, workplace learning and usability.
Researches and evaluates sources for content including digital images, audio, video and other media.
Designs graphics/images and develops audio and video content.
Liaises with Expansion Educators to translate learning requirements into storyboard outlines, concept maps, SCORM compliant eLearning modules and print based materials.
Performs LMS assignment creation and maintenance tasks. Conducts testing of new web-based learning modules and publishes courses in the LMS.
Ensures that educational programs are congruent with Education and Training Guiding Principles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge and familiarity with current trends in instructional design, workplace learning and usability principles.
Knowledge and familiarity with learning management systems.
Knowledge and familiarity with course authoring tools such as Articulate and Captivate.
Knowledge and familiarity with HTML/Java programming and website design programming.
Knowledge and familiarity with production quality print page design.
Knowledge of MS Office including MS Visio and SharePoint.
Knowledge of software tools to edit video, audio, design graphics, and edit photos.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, adjust to shifting priorities and demands through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently and as a team with minimum supervision.
Ability to demonstrate initiative, good judgment and effective decision-making; exhibit strong process improvement orientation, and have the ability to achieve results.


Bachelor's degree
Five years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills
