We’re looking for a talented and energetic Continuous Improvement Manager at our Dallas, TX location.

Responsibilities:

+ Communicate continually with Leadership/Executive Team to understand the voice of the customer and determine areas of opportunity.

+ Assess current state of continuous improvement culture in sales organization, HQ, Distribution and Manufacturing.

+ Create and map vision for future state.

+ Implement plan to institutionalize utilization of continuous improvement tools to eliminate waste and improve financial outcomes into the daily management practices.

+ Develop project guidelines for scoping projects. Assist in building a change management and communication plan to include high level overview training for all employees in the Lean process to ensure they understand the purpose of the Lean process. Maintain and grow the Phase II training process.

+ Interact with Leadership/Executive Team to develop/maintain a Lean project hopper. Maintain a database of projects. Maintain a repository of completed projects. Maintain an electronic resource for local facilitators including training materials, templates and modules.

+ Maintain and Implement a rigorous process for measurement and tracking of project results. Report program assessment and gap analysis to Leadership/Executive Team.

+ Coordinate and mentor Lean Practitioners ensuring broad employee engagement.

+ Affect cultural outcomes where Business leaders become Lean Leaders and use the tools.

Education and Knowledge:

+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, operations, or business or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

+ Ten years of Back Office operations and/or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Prior experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

+ Lean Certification is a plus.

+ Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively interact with Senior Management and internal customers.

+ Good presentation and team facilitation skills in order to present information, deliver training and solicit feedback at various levels within the organization

+ Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and exercise good judgment to resolve problems and complete tasks in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

+ Ability to collect raw and secondary data, to organize, analyze and draw relevant conclusions to inform senior management accordingly

+ Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Works well in group problem solving situations

+ Motivation - Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles. Takes calculated risks to accomplish goals

+ Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction. Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.

+ Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information. Collects and researches data. Uses intuition and experience to complement data. Designs work flows and procedures.

+ Ability to work independently relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals in accordance with project deliverable and reporting deadlines.
