The Database Security Group is chartered to provide security infrastructure for Oracle databases, and develop security products and services for Oracle customers. Oracle is the leader and pioneer in database security. Our group has been innovating and extending the lead on our competitors. We develop core database security infrastructure, products and cloud services that address emerging security challenges for enterprise applications.
Our team within the Database Security Group is responsible for building the platform and infrastructure components for Data Security Cloud Services and integrating them with Oracle Public Cloud. This platform provides a highly scalable, highly available and micro-service based run-time environment to run a set of critical security services including data classification, data masking, auditing and firewall, etc. It manages and automates the complete lifecycle of these services from provisioning, monitoring, and scaling to upgrade patching through seamless integration with Oracle IaaS and PaaS platforms.

Job Description:
Developer for DSCS DevOps. Responsible for building infrastructure to facilitate and automate development, build, testing and delivering data security services; managing resources and developing internal tools for CI operations, enforce Dev/QA principles and improve productivity.

Job Requirements:

6 years of development/DevOps experience; familiar with Continuous Integration practices,
Agile development, open source tools for build/test automation; familiar with GIT, Maven/Gradle, Hudson/Jenkins, Docker, Python, JavaScript.
Qualifications:
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
