What do you get to do in this position
·
Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, hydraulics, and pneumatics distribution and control.

Troubleshoot and repair production machine issues in a timely manner.

May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.

Maintains frequent and regular contact with internal customers to understand and address opportunities on projects.

Coordinate with engineering and maintenance on existing machine control modifications to robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and vision systems.

Qualifications:
This job might be for you if:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, i.e. Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, etc.
3-5 years of experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Complete knowledge of and ability to design and use relay logic, ladder logic, pneumatic logic and hydraulic logic.
Knowledge and proficiency of the following:
Complete knowledge of and ability to use RS232, RS422, Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and remote I/O communications protocol.
Understanding of and ability to use C# and Visual Basic.
Complete understanding and ability to use Excel, Word, Access, AutoCAD and all related computer software for machine programming, backup and monitoring.
Application of various sensor technologies.
Motor control circuits from 480VAC, 208/120VAC, 24VDC, 12VDC.
