Due to the nature of this position, a very high degree of initiative, teamwork and communication are required.  This position also provides technical guidance to other engineering staff, engineering and maintenance technicians, maintenance supervisors, and others as required.  The Associate Business Systems Analyst is tasked with providing analysis of plant manufacturing capacity, process optimization and automation using lean manufacturing techniques and other problem solving tools and scheduling technical resources for projects.  In-depth knowledge of machine design, CAD or PLC Programming, troubleshooting and project management required.  
Gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications, and requirements on small sized projects based on a solid understanding of business requirements. Analyze business needs, document requirements, build test scenarios and complete testing.  In addition, provide end-user support for applications
• Develops or participates in the development of solutions to problems specific to assigned project.
• Participates in continuous improvement projects.
• Manage the design, installation and start-up of new equipment and systems as required.
• Perform technical trouble shooting and implement problem resolution for existing and new equipment/systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (internal and external) on projects relating to existing and new product lines.
• Provide technical guidance to others (internal and external) as required.
• Provide leadership, direction and expertise for complex projects.
• Provide leadership and drive new innovation within the plant.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in systems, PLC or business required.  3+ years experience working within the application systems or business environment.  Experience in system testing, validation and/or training a plus.
