Prepares food for patients, visitors and employees in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction and in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements. Directs the activities of the assistant cooks.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to read/speak English, basic math and food measurement skills, good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively as a team.
Experience: Institutional cooking/food preparation experience preferred and experience cooking for modified diets. Experience in the use of proper sanitation procedures and techniques.
