Intake and Assessment Coordinator
PRN - Every 4th/5th Weekend
5 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Monday

Intake and Assessment Coordinator PRN



PRN Defined: Rotating weekends on call (every 4th or 5th weekend). Call goes from 5pm Friday to 8 am Monday.

Earn $3/hour to be on call, then time and a half for hours worked.

Job Duties:

*Assess and evaluate patients in crisis to determine the best course of treatment.

*Screen patients at the EIRMC Emergency Room and will also be available to assess and evaluate patients referred directly to B.H.C or on EIRMC's Med/Surg. floors.

*While on duty, may act as liaison to the community.

*Will advocate for patients as appropriate.
Qualifications:
*Must possess communication skills and the sensitivity, maturity and ability to set forth ideas, findings and recommendations clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.

*Must possess a sound knowledge of mental health, community resources, and hospital Policy and Procedure.

*Position requires a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or related field from an accredited school.

*Must have a license in their field of study or be able to secure a license within 3 months of hire.

*Must have a valid Idaho driver's license. (Employees who are not permanent residents of Idaho must have a valid driver's license from the state in which they permanently reside.)

Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification and completion of all hospital mandatory education and training.

Current certification in Non Violent Physical Crisis Intervention. If not certified at time of hire, will obtain certification within 90 days.
