Under general direction of the Marketing Director, this role is responsible for the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives for AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation. This position interacts with associates from numerous functional areas within AmerisourceBergen including, but not limited to, Field Sales, Business Operations and Good Neighbor Pharmacy . PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
At the direction of the Marketing Director, works with internal Centers of Excellence and outside vendors for development and production of marketing materials. Develops messaging/positioning, collateral, case studies, etc. for designated Community & Specialty Pharmacy solutions and programs. Coordinates and develops materials for use in education and thought leadership channels, F2F Marketing and other external industry communication. Executes on business unit and program marketing plans for designated solutions, initiatives and events. Develops program overviews and presentations for internal departments and field sales associates. Maintains effective planning directly with Business Operations team to ensure issues and milestones are met and coordination with Corporate Marketing is optimized. Provides market research to support business unit services and solutions. Tracks and measures analytics to demonstrate ROI and success of marketing initiatives. Manages a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects occurring in the Marketing department at any given time. Attends healthcare industry specific conferences, events and sales meetings to represent Marketing department. Maintains positive and professional working relationships with associates and management. Complies with all corporate policies and procedures. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, communications/journalism or similar vocations obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program. Normally requires a minimum of four to six (4-6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of principles in marketing, branding and communications Excellent communication skills, including oral and in writing Superior organizational skills; attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines Strong creativity Excellent interpersonal and professional skills Strong analytical skills Ability to work autonomously and resolve issues efficiently and effectively Experience with CRM (salesforce.com), web content management systems, email automation platforms and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) a plus. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and HTML a plus.
