General Profile:

Responsible for researching, developing, testing, implementing and iterating critical and complex Field Development programs, as part of our distribution optimizaton initiative. Would "incubate" 1-3 programs at a time, at various levels of maturity and complexity, working directly as part of the Field Development senior leadership team, and integrating new programs into our existing system.

First assigned program will be the General Office Leadership Development (GOLD) Transformation:
Develop and execute the project plan to reimagine our most critical Field Management operating platform.
Conduct Core Team, Advisory Team and Governance meetings.
Identify and manage relevant stakeholders and communications.
Ensure the transformation is taking place in an effective and timely manner.
Develop process, with governance, for continuous improvement and making updates to GOLD.
Drive GOLD Adoption:
Determine current levels of adoption.
Develop a system for driving adoption, including the use of change management techniques
Develop adoption metrics and a GOLD adoption reporting system.
Reimagine GOLD On-line:
Develop a full digitized GOLD Online Management System.
Work with IT and other team to manage the integration of GOLD into other NYLIC Systems.
Oversee the Managing Partner, Senior Partner, Partner and Development Manager Service requests.
Manage access - the process of adding new Managers and Agents to the GOLD On-line Development System.
GOLD Training and Education:
Be responsible for revised content in all FMLD programs related to GOLD, working in conjunction with the AP and Partners Program Managers and Instructional Design leader/team.
Develop GOLD training as needed in Partner and AP programs.
Act as initial GOLD SME for all of Field Development.


Functional Knowledge:
• BS or BA required / MBA or JD required
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Quantitative Analysis / Statistical Modeling / Business Analysis
• Extensive program / project management experience.
• Platform facilitation, large and small group facilitation skills and experience.
• Extensive business analysis background, preferably at a consulting firm with experience in the financial services industry.
• Prefer candidate have at least a general knowledge of financial services distribution; experience with NYL Career Agency a plus.

Problem Solving:

• Develop, implement and improve on complex project plans.
• Ability to understand systematic needs, and to come up with outside the box solutions that integrate seamlessly with NYL distribution system.

• Identify and manage relevant stakeholders and communications.
• Ensure program management taking place in an effective and timely manner.
• Develop process, with governance, for continuous improvement and making updates to GOLD and other assigned programs.


Communication Requirements:

• Frequent contact with Insurance & Agency Group Senior Management.
• Frequent colloboration with partners from within and outside of Field Development.

This indicator is based on generally accepted accounting principles in the US(GAAP), with certain adjustments Company believes to be appropriate as a measurement approach ( non GAAP), primarily the removal of gains or losses on investments and related adjustments.

Assets under management represent Consolidated Domestic and International insurance Company Statutory assets (cash and invested assets and separate account assets) and third party assets principally managed by New York Life Investment management Holdings LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company.
