Cost Accounting Supervisor

What you will do
The Cost Accounting Lead supports multiple plants in the Air Systems product group and reports to the Controller, Global Costing. This role works as a team with Plant Controllers and the Regional Controller to provide analytics on variances and achievement of performance targets to support management in delivering the BT&S profit plan. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for managing the cost accounting system and inventory valuation, setting annual standard costs, and ensuring internal controls are enforced. You will work with Engineering and Material Control to ensure Routings and BOMs are accurate. You will participate in monthly closing, budgeting and forecasting, financial reviews, and the annual physical inventory count.

As a Cost Accounting Lead you will maintain a sound internal control structure to ensure the integrity of product cost. You believe the best work is done in teams and you have a passion to win. You work closely with plant controllers and operations managers to provide timely, data driven analytics of financial performance. You are decisive and focused on delivering results.

What we look for
• Bachelor degree in accounting
• Minimum 5 years of experience with an advanced working knowledge of product costing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HFM
• Familiarity with MacPac is a plus
• Proficiency in standard cost accounting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
