Counsel 4 – Equipment Finance - Vendor Financial Services
Attorney will join the Law Department and the team of lawyers who support the Vendor Financial Services (VFS) unit of the Wells Fargo Equipment Finance business. VFS is a $13 billion business specializing in providing equipment leasing and equipment secured lending products to original equipment manufacturers, dealers, and commercial customers across the United States and Canada. Transactions involve all types of equipment, including construction, industrial, technology, medical, and office imaging equipment and include vendor and dealer program agreements, purchase agreements, leases, loans, and other ancillary products employed by VFS, including marketing arrangements, syndications, and referral agreements. Specific responsibilities will include: (i) negotiating and drafting lease and loan documents, (ii) supporting the capital markets and syndications teams in the acquisition and sale of transactions with other financial institutions, (iii) negotiating and drafting vendor programs and dealer agreements, (iv) review and providing advice on a wide range of equipment finance transactions, (v) providing general transactional advice for secured lending, transactions working with documentation, credit, sales team members, (vi) assisting with regulatory compliance requirements and management of legal and operational risk, (vii) drafting and updating transactional document templates.
Job location: Preference for Irving, TX but open to any city with an existing WF law department office.
