We are seeking talented ambitious individuals to fill a Credit Analyst Position with a drive to succeed who have one plus year of customer service experience as well as excellent verbal and decision making skills to provide exceptional customer service for our ATM/Debit card, ACH and Check fraud card customers. As a Credit Analyst you would be responsible for reviewing and processing claims within the finance and banking industry. We are seeking a Credit Analyst who balances exceptional customer service with strong investigative research while answering incoming calls in a call center environment from internal and external customers who suspect they have fraudulent, mis-posted, or unusual activity on their accounts or are experiencing an immediate financial crisis. The Credit Analyst must be able to effectively authenticate the identity of customers to prevent further fraudulent activity. The Credit Analyst will capture all pertinent information from customers about their claims, conduct research, and decisions or provides updates on status of new and existing claims. You will also utilize expertise in all applicable rules, regulations, and procedures to mitigate risk of loss to both the customer and the company, and to ensure strict compliance with all regulations and procedures. The Credit Analyst is proficient in entering data pertinent to claims into multiple computer systems as well as reviewing data in multiple windows and applications and utilizing search tools to find information while on the phone with customers. As the Credit Analyst you will also research moderate to complex account activity, determine the potential source of compromise, and then take the appropriate action for the claim. Additional duties of the Credit Analyst may include: Closing and/or reissuing cards or accounts. Researching or placing holds and restraints. Reversing fees. and / or referring accounts for suspected elder abuse. Identity theft, or account misuse. Refers/reviews more complex/unique situations with senior department staff and networks with supporting departments to create a seamless experience for the customer. Successful candidates, in the Credit Analyst role, will be working in a fast paced production oriented environment. You will be expected to respond to our inbound customer inquiries while meeting or exceeding quality standards. You will be required to use multiple online computer systems with technical proficiency. Excellent communication skills are necessary to conduct thorough questionnaires while documenting and researching all required information to assist the customer in resolving their fraud or merchant dispute. The nature of claims handled can be complex; therefore, direct communication with merchants is often required to resolve customer disputes. Success in this position includes consistent attendance.
