A Critical Systems Maintenance Supervisor leads a medium size (5 to 10 associates) group of technicians involved in a specialized field of maintenance requiring highly developed troubleshooting, mechanical, automation, data analysis, and troubleshooting skillsets. The scope of the position includes all aspects related to maintenance of a subset of the FWN manufacturing critical systems department (Water Systems/Reactors, HVAC, Sterilization, Metrology). Basic functions of the Maintenance Supervisor: Provides leadership and strategic direction to the department as well as oversight of day to day maintenance activities. Ensures equipment and processes are operating and maintained to meet production volume and product / equipment sterility, quality, and compliance requirements. Responsible for minimization of equipment downtime though effective troubleshooting, root cause analysis, issue responsiveness and effectively scheduled preventive maintenance. Also responsible for establishing a safety culture and leading equipment safety initiatives as well as supporting equipment and process validation.

• Provides coordination of Critical Systems maintenance technicians. Helps establish and monitor developing maintenance and reliability "best" practices. Provides input into the development of the operating budget for critical systems maintenance; orders materials, supplies, and spare parts; monitoring and tracking expenditures for the department. • Plans, organizes and provides supervision and oversight for daily maintenance operations and provides superior equipment service through continuous improvement, condition monitoring, corrective and preventive maintenance and responsiveness. Leads continuous improvement projects (including capital driven initiatives), provides guidance and oversight for mechanic-owned upgrades and improvements, provides specifications and scheduling for contractors, and negotiates vendor pricing. Ensures all work conforms to current Good Manufacturing Practices and meets all Standard Operating Procedures. • Must have experience in a wide range of technical disciplines, including control systems, metrology, HVAC, water systems, and steam generation. Must have the ability to direct, lead, and understand electrical and mechanical activities including; control system troubleshooting and design (motor controls, Allen Bradley and GE PLC's, PanelView HMIs, and iFix SCADA systems), single and three phase electrical systems, process piping operation and design, utility systems (plant steam, clean steam, WFI, chilled water, unidirectional air flow, HEPA filtration, and compressed air) and have a strong aptitude for process and equipment troubleshooting and repair. • Sets up and maintains a preventative maintenance program to ensure thorough and regular inspection of all equipment and utilities as well as production support equipment (carts, racks, lifts, etc.). Ensures preventive maintenance procedures are developed from standardized maintenance guidelines, have a long term strategic outlook, and are complete and effective. • Participates in the selection and development of maintenance staff; performs periodic evaluations of direct reports performance, provides regular feedback, and is able to take disciplinary action when required. Develop subordinates through education, training, and teamwork. Provides leadership to create an environment which fosters open communication, utilizes total production manufacturing (TPM) and maintenance excellence (ME2) principles and recognizes people as a critical resource.

Minimum requirements Minimum: Bachelor of Science Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Computer Engineering) or 10 yrs applicable mfg exp w/ High School Diploma.

2 years of relevant experience with 1 year of demonstrated leadership

Desired: Masters Engineering Mgmt English
3 - 5 years of Pharmaceutical, MD&D, or Food manufacturing experience.
3+ years as a people leader / previous supervisory experience
