CRM & MDM Capability Lead

The Director of CRM and MDM Capability will be located in Lexington, MA. This role is responsible forthe further development and implementation of Shire's Customer RelationshipManagement and Master Data Management systems globally. This is a highlyvisible role that will interact with all levels of the organization acrossmultiple geographies. This professional will be responsible for the maintenanceand development of a globally scalable CRM and MDM platforms. Outside ofenhancements to the platform itself, the Director of CRM and MDM Capabilitywill also be responsible for ensuring Shire's CRM and MDM platforms meetsecurity standards as well as legal, compliance, quality and internationalrequirements.

•Direct the design, development and implementation of CRMand MDM business capabilities, technologies, and related infrastructureplatforms.
•Take an active role in developing CRM and MDM strategiesand projects.
•Lead CRM and MDM architecture and deployment acrossenterprise based on current and future business capabilities
•Utilize enterprise principles in building qualityplatforms either by leveraging custom components or commercial solutions.
•Refine the direction of the platform and developroadmaps and timelines for enhancements.
•Collaborate with Commercial functions in leveraging theCRM and MDM platforms to enable customers journey and contact strategies; workwith IT Functions, Commercial Operations, Marketing and Business leaders toidentify opportunities for enhanced engagement
•Facilitate CRM and MDM Steering Committee meetings withkey stakeholders to prioritize requests and review any service issue(s)
•Evolve the operations and support model, increasingcapability and reducing cost
•Expand core capabilities to new channels including butnot limited to mobile, interactive media, customer interaction, etc.
•Manage technical team of CRM and MDM experts andarchitect
•Manage team budget and vendors



Education and Experience Requirements

A successful candidate will possess the followingknowledge, skills, and abilities:
•B.A. or B.S. /M.S. in Computer Science or relevantdiscipline
•8+ years of experience implementing CRM and MDMsolutions at an enterprise level.
•Experience in pharmaceutical industry requiredparticularly in a Commercial function
•Enterprise experience delivering commercial capabilitiesutilizing internal teams and distributed groups.
•Experience translating technical information in toeasy-to-understand business concepts.
•Expert level understanding of CRM systems and MasterData Management.
•Experience / Certifications with and/orVeeva CRM are preferred.

•Ability to travel up to 40%
