Doctors Hospital of Sarasota is currently accepting applications for a Florida-licensed CT Technologist (CT Tech) on a full-time basis in our new free standing emergency facility which is planned to open Q1 2018. ARRT (CT) and BLS required. Full-time shifts for this CT Tech opportunity will be 12 hours in duration & employees will rotate weekends with 7 days off each 4-week pay period. A full-time CT Tech is needed for days (7a-7p) and nights (7p-7a).

At DHoS, we utilize complete computerized charting ("Electronic Health Record") for our patient assessment and care documentation. We also utilize eMAR, our electronic medication administration record for the delivery of all medications provided to our patients, which has significantly reduced errors associated when administering medications. In 2013, Doctors Hospital implemented our CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) application called "Advanced Clinicals."
Qualifications:
  • Must have current ARRT certification with advanced certification in CT.
  • Florida license required.
  • Current American Heart Association certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider required.
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
