The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT exams in accordance with standards and practice set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Radiology Department policies and procedures. The CT Tech demonstrates knowledge of human anatomy, disease processes and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences, radiation protection and specialized techniques.
Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Saturday and Sunday 7am - 7pm
Required: Gr aduate of an accredited approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Preferred: Completion of courses in computed tomography and cross-sectional anatomy.
Required: One year experience as Radiology Tech in an acute care setting.
Preferred: One year experience performing CT procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to demonstrate understanding of HCA's and St. David's "Patients First" safety initiative by strict compliance to all safety protocols and procedures.
Required: Required: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), TDH MRT License, and BLS required upon hire.
