The Customer Management Sr. Manager is responsible for the day to day sales plan for the Quaker Oats Bars and Specialty brands across all Kroger formats. This role will provide key analysis of key metrics of the Quaker Oats business brands at Kroger our #1 grocery account. The right candidate will manage both internal and external systems (Kroger Market 6 & 84.51, Sales Metrics & New Item trackers, Supply Chain/Demand Planning forecasts) to set up items, track against key sales metrics and ensure trade and promotional program compliance. This role will also heavily be involved in transformative project work like test and learn of new incubation items and store of the future end cap tests. This role will also lead field account manager initiatives by developing field selling tools and tracking against up selling targets and working with shopper marketing and category management to develop programs and insights for field execution. The right person for this role will be comfortable working in a fast paced and high visibility account environment that can multi task and feels comfortable interacting with and presenting to internal and external Senior Leaders.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • +5 years minimum CPG sales experience (Kroger or National account experience preferred)
  • Self starter/Agile learner
  • Systems experience (Kroger, SAP, IRI) and strong excel capabilities
  • Field sales and/or retail execution preferred
  • Supply chain or Demand forecasting experience a plus
  • Direct report experience a plus
  • Strong ability to wire with customers and work in a matrix fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (especially with Sr. Leadership)
  • Team player
  • Competitive spirit
