Merck's Customer Contract Management (CCM) Customer, Membership & Eligibility (CME) team is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our finance team as a CME Analyst. The Analyst is a key team member who plays an active and critical role in supporting Merck's customer centric business model. The Analyst works closely with Merck's external customers and internal contracting teams, across the full portfolio of Pharmaceutical and Vaccine products, developing an understanding of the value Merck's portfolio brings to patients, physicians, insurers, hospitals, and other healthcare stakeholders. The Analyst will be responsible for execution of core contracting activities such as membership, contract set-up, and data validation. Specific priorities will include managing customer enrollments, eligibility verification, inquiry/issue resolution, and data validation. Applicants should possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and have a desire to develop a deep knowledge around the customer contracting process, building relationships with internal stakeholders and Merck's external customers


Qualifications:
Education:
  • Minimum of a BS/BA degree is required
Required:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Finance, Operations, Marketing or similar role
  • Personable team player with strong communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to solve complex problems
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand data and draw conclusions.
  • Attention to detail, high aptitude for compliance and transactional excellence
  • Business acumen
Preferred:
  • Experience in managed care contracting or the pharmaceutical industry
