ROLE SUMMARY The Customer Quality Operations Professional is responsible for providing quality support related to PGS McPherson Pfizer CentreOne contract manufacturing customers. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Understand manufacturing process specific to assigned Pfizer CentreOne customers. Populate, report out and react to quality metrics for individual Pfizer CentreOne customers. Identify continuous improvement opportunities as it related to assigned customers based on metrics and drive consistency through the process to align with Pfizer quality standards and standard processes. Provide support for and coordinate Pfizer CentreOne customer quality representative manufacturing investigations. Review and approve investigations for assigned customers as the site quality authority. Ensure communication of manufacturing investigations, change requests and CAPAs to the Pfizer CentreOne customers as it relates to customers. Responsible for quality escalation and issue resolution as it impacts assigned Pfizer CentreOne customers. Support and participate in customer audits. Liaison between Pfizer CentreOne customers and plant quality functions specific to assigned customers. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 3 years quality/regulatory experience in the healthcare industry OR 5 years of overall experience within the healthcare industry Prefers a bachelor's degree in a science, engineering or business related field. Understand the basic quality systems and be able to drive consistency between the Pfizer CentreOne Partners and Pfizer. This individual needs to understand the concepts incorporated in Quality Assurance and in a GMP environment. Effective communication skills required, both written and verbal. Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple projects. Capable of interfacing with multiple levels of people within and outside of the organization, including Corporate management, Pfizer CentreOne customers, and plant personnel. Experience working in a cross-functional, matrix environment. Knowledge of computers with the following software is necessary: Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to operate with and maintain confidential information. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Problem Solving: The position requires the ability to work with multiple Pfizer CentreOne Partners, plant personnel and departments throughout the facility. The individual must be able to think and problem solve in group situations that require tight time frames. The most challenging aspect of the position will be understanding the customer dynamics, building a strong partnership based on trust, and meeting their expectations while supporting the plant systems and processes. Accountability: This position will be responsible ensuring the medicine manufactured for Pfizer CentreOne Partners is consistent with the defined quality systems. Independent action and sound decision making are essential for success in the position as decisions can impact product release and compliance with GMP or at minimum individuals must know who to contact and be able to learn about the quality system for transparent and accurate communication. Analytical Ability: Advanced analytical skills will be required or must be learned in a short duration period. Individual must be able to understand the quality systems and how they inter-relate to one another while determining product impact.
