SUMMARY

Provides customer service via telephone and to walk in customers. Responsible for achieving office and customer service objectives as set by the Customer Manager. Performs administrative duties as required. Schedules service work with SM and dispatches delivery tickets. Communicates with Customer Manager daily regarding work activities and to participate in coaching.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)

* Safety - Works in compliance with safety codes and policies applicable to office personnel.

* Invest in Employees - Communicates with Customer Manager daily; discusses work activities and participates in coaching for performance improvement.

* Customer Service - Practices and reinforces superior customer service skills in customer interactions on the telephone or in person. Responds to customer complaints. Accurately inputs and maintains customer data into STARS system. Initial contact for all pricing related issues.

* Sales Management - Generates sales and revenues by participating in marketing programs. Performs pricing exceptions and bids in accordance with authority delegated by Customer Manager. Makes credit and collection calls to customers as required to reach A/R goals.

* Expense Management - Controls operating expenses by prudent use of office expenditures.

* Administrative Management - Ensures daily, weekly and monthly work processes and reporting are done accurately and timely. Performs cash control and record retention activities per Company policy. Batches all daily delivery and service work. Responsible for processing fuel and appliance inventory.

* Work Scheduling - Dispatches drivers with delivery tickets utilizing set performance benchmarks for percent of fill and stops per day. Works with the SM and DSR/ISR to schedules service work in accordance with service benchmarks.

* Other - Participates in maintaining physical office/plant location as a clean, safe and productive work environment for all employees working there.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* High school diploma required or equivalent

* Two or more years in customer service industry preferred

* Computer skills preferred

* Sales experience preferred

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, Company policies and procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, customers, and the general public.
