Customer Service Representative - Receivables Specialist

Description: Customer Service Representative - Receivables Specialist. Adecco is currently assisting a local client seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative - Receivables Specialist in Ankeny for a long-term temporary to hire job. Customer Service Representatives will interact with customers via telephone and email to provide information, process transactions, and reply to inquiries about outstanding invoices and payments due. This position will manage their assigned account portfolio and will be responsible for maintaining good relationships with those accounts. Responsibilities for a Customer Service Receivables Specialist include:
-Place outbound calls to existing customers to review outstanding invoice amounts and respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts.
-Keep record of customer interactions, record details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
-Use computer system to track, gather information, and/or troubleshoot the items raised by the customer as well as work in excel spreadsheets
-Achieve productivity standards and goals set by the company while maintaining high level of customer service
-Refer unresolved customer issues to designated department or supervisor for further investigation

Customer Service Call Center Representative candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
-1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a customer service role
-Candidate must be able to sit for the majority of their shift
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Make good decisions and able to research and resolve matters brought by the customer
-Computer literate - Proficient with Email and Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
-Able to work in a team environment

The work schedule for this position is 10am -- 7pm Monday through Friday. Pay for this position is $13.00/hour. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
