Customer Service Rep

Customer Service/ Call Center Rep. Essential Functions:
Handle incoming calls from internal and external customers when necessary.
Enter distributor/customer orders (from phone, fax, or written) into the company's order entry system.
Enter requests for Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS).
Assist with requests on pricing, shipping, product availability, terms and conditions, and stock information.
Enter customer feedback information into a database.
Enter new accounts and update existing accounts with accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
Provide information and assistance per distributor/customer inquiry; returns, credit memos, no charges, give-a-ways, and product traces.
Handle customer complaints, problems, and returns.
Initiate no charge orders, returns, sales allowances, traces, replacement orders and billing.
Prepare quotes, quotes to orders.
Proactively follow up with customers and Distributors on quotes to convert to order.
Manage all assignments daily workload and planning.
Project work assigned by senior management.

Education Required
BS in Science or Chemistry Preferred / Experienced in Customer Service
High School Diploma or GED Mandatory
Experience Required
4 years of general customer service experience
