This Customer Service Representative position is based in the Savannah, Georgia region and is a short term temporary-to-fulltime employment opportunity. Your responsibilities in this role -Roles and Responsibilities: Achieve customer satisfaction through communication and service • Receiving Customer Orders: • Receive incoming phone calls, e-mail, fax • Complete customer order form when order received by phone. • Make sure all pertinent information is received as needed. Customer name, requested ship to location, delivery date, requested delivery time, strength, mode, purchase order number, quantity, phone number, person placing order, and any special instructions. • Acknowledge orders when received by fax or email to customers. • Verify pricing on any orders received that pricing is noted. • Communicate directly with customer on delivery dates or time if TC is not able to meet customer's request. • Advise Customer Service Manager on any unusual request from customers or complaints. • Any customer complaints or feedback – provide information to Document Controller to be added on "Customer Feedback Log" in system. • Update customer spread sheet with yearly and monthly purchase orders. • Month End – run report to make sure all bill of ladings loaded during the month have been billed and change delivery dates to new month if load has not been loaded and change purchase order if needed. • Enter Customer Order in Computer System: • Input order data into computer system. (Computer automatically assigns bill of lading number). • Assure all information that customer requested is on bill of lading, along with any special instructions or designated area for shipment to be delivered. • Print customer order, attach to customer desk order and give to TC for scheduling with carrier and assigning load time based on customer delivery request.
