Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative is an important role in the team and is responsible for answering inbound calls and directing calls to appropriate personnel. The ideal candidate is a well-spoken, enthusiastic, and organized person with the ability to provide a high level of customer service to our patients, clinicians, and clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Primary resource for inbound telephone calls to minimize workflow interruptions due to non-clinical related customer inquiries, such as general referral status or financial information
- Directly responds to customer inquiries when appropriate or routes calls to the appropriate staff to ensure prompt resolution/customer satisfaction
- Data entry into management information system for changes in patient information
- Answers emails in a timely, professional manner so that providers or patients have essential information and assists team members with follow-ups
- Monitors voicemail system by responding in a timely manner or forwarding to the appropriate team member if necessary
- Provides customer service through manipulation of management information system to answer questions regarding status of pending/shipped referrals, and verify insurance information
