A well established distribution company in Queens, NY has a job for an upbeat, professional, and energetic Customer Service oriented individual. The candidate would work in a team environment to assist customers in placing orders via telephone, email and fax. This role is critical in the continued quality of service the company is known for.The professional in this role will respond to customer inquries, call customers regarding new and special products and answer delivery questions. The ideal candidate must be able to manage time, change priorities as needed, and maintain composure in any situation. This is a 9AM to 5Pm but the candidates must be able to work up to 7:30PM if needed to complete their customer calls. Skills in MSW, Excel and Otlook are required and knowledge of AS400 is preferred.
¿High School Diploma (or equivalent)
¿2-3 Years' Experience (Call Center Setting)
¿Strong multi-tasking, problem solving skills and an emphasis on calculating figures and amounts.
¿Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers and customers.
¿Commitment to excellence and high standards especially in regard to customer service.
¿Display proficiency with windows based computer software (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
¿Typing Speed 35-45wpm
